An ongoing series of photographs that attempt to answer the question ‘What is Britishness?’ by doing things I believe to be British, influenced by the works of Martin Parr and Simon Roberts.
As a second generation Irish Immigrant I did not have the a-typical British upbringing and have not gained the proud to be British identity which dominates the mainstream political media during the era of Brexit. With what certainly feels like a foreigners eye I am attempting to understand the sense of British and what that means through a series of day trips around East Anglia and the East Midlands- The areas I have grown up in and lived in for the past 20 years.
